need carb suggestions

i have a 440ex 11.3 compression the head is ported as big as it will go and it has a web midrange cam


sometime soon i want to order exhaust and a carb ive already decided on the white brothers full system i just dont know what carb to get for my mods :confused:

most people i talk to like their fcr's the most. the fcr 39 will give slightly more low end power than the fcr 41. they also make a fcr 40 but it requires some modifications in order for it to fit properly. i hear the lectrons can make some good power but more tuning and maintenance is required on these.

I got my 39mm yesterday for my 416, ITS KILLER, huge diffrence.-darren

fcr all the way...it will make a noticable difference. I run a 39mm on my 426 and will be running a 41mm on the 440 but I havent gotten to use that yet. The 39 added some pretty impressive power.

anyone on here ever ran the edelbrock ? or know the size of it ?
