Stock pipe? Stock gearing?

Anyone pull the spark arrestor out of the stock pipe? Any noticble difference? How much top end difference with the 13 tooth front sprocket? Do you still have to feather the throttle to take off or is it more like the 400ex?:confused:

You will not lose too much top end with the 13t front sprocket maybe 4mph. You do not need to feather the clutch with the 13t either. I tried taking out the baffle, and it did not make too much of a difference to warrant the extra noise.
