Went to a concert in Nashville last night

My girlfriend surprised me on Christmas with tickets to the Meteora Tour: Linkin Park with P.O.D., Hoobastank, & Story of the Year. After waiting til the 29th, we drove down to Nashville to see the show.
Once we got there, and payed $10 to park in B.F.E.,:rolleyes: we finally got inside the stadium. After a dealing w/security and getting floor wristbands, we got to the floor right when Story of the Year's set was over.:( .......I'll quit griping!:blah:
Anyway, to make a long story short, the show turned out to be great. The bands were very gracious and involved with the their fans, which is nice to see. All three bands that I saw put on a very energetic show, and sounded great. It was worth the crap we had to put up with at first.:D

I really enjoyed the concert, after we finally got on the floor.:p I was kinda bummed about missing Story of the Year, but had a blast seeing everyone else.

i had tickets but didnt go...I did go to the predators game last night though

Must be nice to have a professional hockey team in your home town. I have to drive four hours to see the Wings beat up on Chicago.

Haven't seen the Predators play, but the Gaylord stadium that they play in is impressive. It's a huge facility. Being on the floor makes you realize its enormous size even more.

saw them last night here in Lex. Good show, Story of the Year did a great cover of 'Enter Sandman'. I'm a sore mofo today, too old to be in the moshpit for sure.:o

I'm still bummed that I missed Story of the Year, but it's too late now. Maybe I can catch them some other time.

Me and Ben Bettis went to that in Minneapolis, Too bad you missed story of the year, they are a great band! I went and got their CD the next day!!!

They are good aren't they? Talented group. I was excited about seeing them, but at least the rest of the show was a blast. The energy from POD was nuts.

yea i was on the floor and story of the year kicked arse it was pretty good concert and i have preds season tickets i go to gaylord often

I also saw Eminem, 50 Cent, Missy Elliot, D12, and Obie Trice this summer at Ford Field in Detroit... it was the only North American Stop they made on that tour...

I had tickets for Summer Sanitarium in STL this past summer. It was gonna be sweet. If I remember right, it was Metallica, Linkin Park, Deftones, just to name a few. The person I was going with backed out at the last minute, so I didnt end up going.:grr:

I've been a huge Taproot and Chevelle fan for a while now. I saw Chevelle in Indy at Ozzfest back during the summer, and they're great live. That Ozzfest was awesome. Disturbed, Korn, Ozzy, Marilyn Manson, and Chevelle were on the main stage. This year, Ozzfest looks like its gonna suck.
