ok A guy that /i know left his '99 400ex at my house for a year (dec.03 to jan.04) and now he wants mee to buy it. but he wants $$5000 (canadian) and I know is now worth that!
he paid $$8400(cdn) in 1999 (witch is too much)

ok the quad was ridden verry verry hard (b4 it ever came to my house)
the list of stuff it has/needs.

I bought new razrs all around (back 1s are worn out)
I bought 2 new clutch cables.
I bought new hand grips.
changed oil every 3-4months
I put new rear bearings it twice.

what it needs!! :eek:

ok the axle is bent from him flatland'n a jump. (it was bent when I got it)
the plasitc is all scratched up verry badly. (sp)
the frame has cracks in it. ( I had them welded up)
the stering stem is bent. (from him rolling it)
it needs new rear bearings.
and prolly sum other stuff.
oh and it need a new top end and valve seels

but he wants wayyyyyyyyyy to much andI could get a '03 EX for under $6000!

if i do buy it wut is a good price?? my guess is about $$2000-2500 (max)

im not to fond of the frame that is cracked in multiple places id go with a different quad, there are plenty of deals out there:macho
