I FLIPPED THEM LAST NIGHT(I PUT THE LEFT ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND PUT THE REZZY FACING THE FRONT OF THE QUAD AND VICE VERSA)

It looks good IMO. at first I was scared it woulnt clear the Aarm but it's not an issue. Only prolem I ran into is that the DUMBAzz that bolted the front fender at the fatory overtighten it on the left side(bolt the holds the fende on that little black bracket near the rad) well The threads cam out with the bolt SUCKS ! i have to get the little black piece now.... hope they dont ask and arm and a leg for it.

I GOT PIX BUT CANT POST IT. If somedau can again help me out I can email them the pix so ppl see what it looks like with the rezzies facing the other way.

Thanks guyz!

ha, ridiculous. They are valved for a certain angle. You will benefit nothing by doing this.

The whole point of the going back is so that they are protected. Doesn't look any better to me but that is just my opinion. If you like it that way all the more power to you. I have never seen anything in a shock that indicates it being valves for a certin angle. I don't think it will effect anything.

All shocks are valved for a certain angle because of the leverage the lower control arm has on the shock itself. Flipping these around will not change any angle settings whatsoever.

but your rebound adjuster is now taking on dirt in the front. wont take long for it to fail

I really doubt it'll fail anytime soon, most aftermarket shocks have them sticking out the sides and no one complains about that, if anything, it'll keep them cooler that way. Looks good to me man

it'll keep them cooler that way

Good point.

Maybe i havent been around enough but who has ever heard of the rezzy being torn away or bashed with a rock? I'd say if anywhere then in a GNCC the chances are higher but in a GNC/MX type setting id think the chances of messing up your rezzies are slim. Opinions?

The amount of additional cooling from them sticking out the front is going to be very minimal. Its not like your going warp speed and causing a vacuum behind your shock body lol.

I've had some pile ups in MX where I could see a front mounted rezzie could possibly be damaged. If you rearend someone in a corner because they stall or something I could see a grab bar very easily taking out that rezzie... because again chances are small.

there is a purpose for honda to put the rezys out of the way like that....i had my elka piggyback front shocks and my buddy hit me coming into the first corner after the whole shot and snapped the adjuster nob right off the rezzy...blew out all the oil and i had to ride the whole race basically with one front shock...

it is a huge advantage having them tucked in behind the shocks honda knows what their doing...
function before looks!

Hey buddy if your going to post garbage like that do us all a favor and dont bother.
3 total posts are they all as useless as this one?
Tell you what be an asset to the FORUM not an ***

Back on Topic you may not want to have the rezzis exposed to roost and possible damage from a crash but if you ride hard the bennies of having them in front WILL provide better cooling. I cant say that I like the looks of them out front but as long as you do.

Yeah I ride a YFZ but dont smack talk about it.

Hey with the rezzie in front I don't think they will cool any better when packed with mud, that is if you ride in any mud. I am thinking they will cool less?:D
