Do I absolutely HAVE to order extended brake lines for my +2+1 a-arms? or is there a way I can work around this like mounting them different? I'm really stumped about having to pay another $75 for my a-arms...

I believe when you go +1 forward the brake lines are a must. You will be happy with them also as they really help the front brakes and stop much better with the stainless lines.

Hi Toadz400,

This is Brian from Streamline. From a safety stan point I must always recommend longer brake lines when you alter your suspension in width, but truthfully when you extend your a-arms
+1 inches your stock lines will reach depending on the brand of a-arms and ATV. It's not the safest way to go. I have seen many many rubber brake lines rupcher when they are stretched. I can not recommend using stock lines for +2 A-arms even if they do stretch. If you do not want to purchase a complete set of brake lines you could always go with extensions, which are steel braided brake lines that connect to the hardline replacing only the stock rubber lines. You can purchase these through C & D Racing or Burgard Cycle. If you have any questions you can call us at 310 327-5308.

Thanks,

Brian

Where's the cheapest place I can find steel braided lines? I can get them off of eBay for $80 shipped I think...but it kinda bums me out that I have to pay another 80 for my front end.

Try C & D Racing or Burgard Cycles.

Streamline, how can I order from your site? And how much is it buying from you compared to other places like C&D? I looked at your site but couldn't find any prices. I need to make sure I have these extended lines before I race, or even try out my new arms. Thanks.

I don't believe Streamline sells direct, so give C&D a call!

Oh okay, that will probably explain the missing prices on the website:D . Okay I'll give C&D a call when I receive my a-arms and collect up my money.

Toadz,

That is correct we do not sell direct. And since C & D and Burgard are site sponsers I suggest you go to them. A-arm brake line extensions are a custom application. They are not your standard Front brake Line kit, so make sure you mention that when speaking to them. They will have to order them, but we can ship them the same day.

Thanks,

Brian

I e-mailed C&D asking how much it'd be for the stainless steel braided brake lines for a +2+1 front end. I hope that's enough information you need?
