I have been swapping all mt 250R parts over to the 400ex. This is what I have found out so far. The axle was a no brainer, But what I didnt know was you had to use the same axle nut as quad. I knew you had to match hubs but I found out that you keep the same axle nut as quad. I then moved to changing the front end. I had to take off about 1/8 to 1/4 on each side of the A arms to make the 250r work on the 400. Tomorow I will be changing steering stems. I am expecting to grind off some of the steering stem stops from the frame but we will see. Also I will be adding my +2 brake lines to the front.
