I like 2 strokes alot and have always wanted a r, but the 400ex is good right now with supesnion, so i can get dirtbike motors from the cr250 for 1600, i need a radiator, a carb, and to make some sort of mounts, along with a custom pipe, has this ever been done before?

Just curious, is it worth it to do it?

Check out Service Honda's webpage...they do this with New 400ex's and CR250R engines...then sell them as new.

They had this in a ATV Sport a year or two back, except it might've been in an R frame...But to deal with the vibration, they put rubber on the engine mounts to absorb the vibration, and it actually didn't vibrate much at all. If I were you I'd make my own rubber fittings to go on the mounts, I'm sure that'd help a bunch.

Silicone in your handlebars will also cut down the vibrations.
