i got my white bros slip on a few days ago and its got a dent in the back side of it. is this there for a clearance reason or is mine just a defect that needs to be sent back?

Read the manual that comes with the pipe bro. It says that the dent is there to clear the brake rotor IF you ever hit hard enough to make the rotor hit your pipe. And no it will not effect performance;)

I saw the same thing on my friends when he got it...its supposed to be there
