What Have You Beat On A 400ex

I HAVE BEATEN MY FRIENDS BANCHEE ON MORE THEN ONE OCASION IN A DRAG RACE, I HAVE ALSO SEEN ONE BEAT QUADZILLAS WHICH ONE ELSE COULD EVEN COME CLOSE. WHAT HAVE HAS EVERYBODY ELSE BEATEN:devil

I beat everything I've lined up against...besides like 500cc banshees and stuff...

Quadzillas, 250Rs, LT 250R's, Piped raptors, big bore raptors, piped DS650's. big bore ds 650's, piped cannondales, big bore cannondales, banshees, a tecate 4, a bunch of three wheelers, and once even a cr250.

I don't own a 400ex but i have beaten pretty much every stock utility machine below 450cc , and a few lt230s.

ok,ya right a a banshee would blow a 400 ex away its a 350 2 stroke and the ex is a 400 4 stroke and a 500 zilla would kill one.ur either full of **** or the ppl u raced went easy or suck badly

well on dirt a banshee will get not much traction and a zilla wioll get even less, so it is feesable. i have beaten banshees on the trail, and i can keep up with 450s without thinking twice

400ex s are a good 4 wheeler and do great on the trails and banshees do great on the trails to but if you do some things to either of those 4 wheelers they will be both great. and they will bet each other all the time.

i have notice this a lot from riding with my brother that rides a 400ex and other friends that rides banshees. they both do great and i have notice it depends on the rider.

drag racing it does depend on the 4 wheeler and the rider

i have a 400ex and about 3 weekends ago i beat a 400 2 stroke polaris scrambler, so i think that it is poss to beat a banshee.

actually, i saw a kid race a scrambler on a 450R, and the scrambler beat him off the line, then the 450R hit 4th gear and started to pull away...so, they r pretty quick

the scrambler isnt as slow as everybody think it is like he said you have to think about its an automatic 4 stroke wich means its not gonna miss a gear and iv seena scrambler modded of course walk a 660 raptor so i wouldnt say they are slow. the 400 ex is defently a nice bike my good friend has a 05 and i like it. i raced him with my outlaw 3 times and beat him all three but i would defently give props his 400ex hung in there

anything can be made fast, I seen a school bus do a wheelie down a 1/4 mile drag strip.
a scrambler got a 450r off the line ? lmao he was prob. giving him a head start to make it a race.
scramblers are heavy, and with the automatic they are sooooo slow off the line.
the scrambler is a good starter atv, most are pretty reliable, and you can have alot of fun on them but dont get it confused with a fast quad

the scrambler has power between 250ex/300ex
the 400ex will kill it off the line and extend the lead until top end.

too many issues between what you drive/what I drive, it will go on forever.

dude a 250ex is a little faster than you think stock, they go around 48-55 stock piped and rejetted maybe around 60 (for a good top end pipe)

personally..i hate polaris with a passion and i could diss on them all night but im not gonna start a fight, a 400ex does great dragging with the right mods, ive seen modded 400's spank modded shee's if you dont belive this then go look at some videos somewhere

ok, i was wounderiing (honestly) im only 15 and i was woundering what my 2005 250ex will do in speed wise. if i have a K&N air filter and precharger, dyno jets, and a 2003 style sparks X-4 full systme on it? like 60? idk im just woundering

i have a bonestock 05 400ex and i smoked a 660 raptor that was supposed to make 60+HP raced in the sand

I have an 02 400ex.... the only aftermarket performance parts I have are : full white brothers r4 exhaust, k&n filter, high flow air box, and a fmf jet kit.

I have 2 friends that I ride with most of the time.... they both have 2005 yfz450s..... both have slip on yoshi pipes and aftermarket filters.... and they both out weigh me by about 40 lbs....

My point is that we have never really drag raced but I know in the trails and when we are just messing around, they both out run me a little bit but not very much at all.

I had always thought that I wanted a new 450 so I could keep up with them but instead because of cost I ended up with my stock (at the time) 400ex... now days, I wouldn't trade my 400 for a 450 simply because of how easy it to make the less expensive used 400 keep up with the 450s. If you put your money into parts on a used 400 instead of spending everything you have on a new 450, you end up with a really good reliable 400 that has all the aftermarket parts that you want on it.

sure, the suspension and power is better on the 450s..... but for 300.00 you can get stock 450 front shocks.... it costs about 75.00 to have your 400 rear shock re-valved and for under 1000.00 I have all new tires, a used exhaust system, my air box, air filter,jet kit, skid plate, nerf bars and handle bars. I think I'm much happier with my 400 the way it is now than I would be with a stock 450 and I haven't even tore into the engine yet.
