Yes on my old computer i start hearing noises for no reason at all. Also its not aim or anything like that. IT's relly starting to make me mad and my mom to. So please help me get rid of this.

NOn its something that is on the computer its not the modem. If i tun my volume off i wont hear it.

turn off the volume;)

double click on your volume control and then mute the Microphone and Line In and if they aren't on the list go to options then properties and then click on the boxes to select them. Hope it works for you

Yep it could be microphone or your hard drive could be making noises if its ur harddrive means its probably going out .....

my computer screams :confused: like once every 30 mins .... it sounds like someone is screaming in a small voice, and no i do not have sound????

sounds like its coming through the cpu?

Perhaps a fan bearing is going, like your cpu fan. Does it do it more if you have alot of apps open at once and doing a ton of stuff, basically bogging your processor down?

I agree... they'll be a fan over the heat sink for the cpu, and a fan in the back of the case. My bet is the case fan is going bad. ;)
