250R axle on 450R?

Has anyone tried the 250R axle on the 450R yet? I would like to use my Durablue from the 250 in the new 450. I know the hub splines are different. Anyone know if this will work for me? I am trying to save from having to buy another axle.

I heard they did somewhere, but a spacer had to be used to line up the sprockets.
