I have a 250x with the mods listed in my profile. I want more top end speed, What gearing should i go with instead of my stock 13/38. Does anyone make a 36 rear sprocket for a 250x?

Go with a 14 front, The fronts are cheaper to buy than rears.

If you really want to buy a rear, nacs has about anything you would need for rear sprockets.

just do what ghak99 said and bump the front to a 14 you'll probably have to get an after market case saver.

no case saver on the 250x.... wish they made one for it tho.. Cause i am going to be ice racing next year, i raced one race this year, but it was a larger track and i was faster than almost everyone in my class in the corners, but on the straight aways i would get passed.. Plus on trail rides i shift so much from 1-5, i want it to have a bit wider gearing.. so you think the 14 will take care of that?

would a 15 tooth front be overkill??? lol :eek2: Or will the 14 be adequate. Will the 14 tooth fit just fine? or will it hit with the chain on there...

I would say you would like the 14 just fine, i don't think a 15 will fit, someone correct me if I am wrong!

Keep in mind one tooth up front is like 3 in the rear!

But does the 14 fit right, without the chain rubbing or hitting on the case?

Fits mine just fine.
