Well I'm looking at buying a truck and trailor combination to haul the YFZ to and from the races and practice tracks . Now that I'm full time at work (been for the last 3 months ) , and might be getting an assistant managers position , I think its time for me to start looking for a new truck and trailor . I've realized the Sunfire GT just wont cut it , and that my old man's truck ( Dodge Ram 4x4) is getting a little too old to start towing a trailor .

Ive been looking at an 01 or newer Duramax Diesel 4x4 extended cab ( maybe crew cab with 4 doors) and a 24 foot trailor . I can probably get around 9 thoughsand for my Sunfire since it's like new condition and has a few extra sets of tires and rims for winter and summer . Ive also been looking at getting a cube van but then this would leave me without a daily driver .

What do you guys think would be the best truck and trailor combo ????

the new dodges are insane. 500hp stock.

for me my favorite trucks are gmc 2500hd 4x4 crew cab but thats just me.

good luck with what you get, any truck should be better than the sunfire for trailoring ;)

Toyota Tacoma Extra cab. Fits stock width 400 nicely with extra room for gas etc behind it.

Before we can give you suggestions, we need to answer some questions first. How much do you want to spend? What are your real needs? How many miles are you going to drive a year? How many are pulling a trailer? How long do you want to keep the vehicle? Do you plan on lifting or adding larger tires? Do you really need/want a 24ft trailer to haul 1 quad? Sometimes we all get alittle unrealistic at times, myself included. A big truck and a big trailer would be nice but doesn't sound like it's what you really need. Not knowing your exact needs or budget, I 'd get a 1/2 ton 4x4 extended cab, 6x10 single axle enclosed trailer(plenty big for 2 quads and cheap). Big truck + big trailer= big payment. Average truck + average trailer= less cash outlay each month and more money for gas and beer. Goodluck..........Brian
