Would this work^^? I'm interested in doing it to increase the power in my 300. Would the engine fit in the frame? Could i use the same motor mounts? Let me know guys..HELP ME OUT HERE!:D

I know this is much help but yes it will fit, they sell kits to get them in there. Conversion exhaust and everything.

The 350x head will also fit on your 300 motor :blah: that'll give ya some UMP LOL I'm thinking of doing this w/ mine. One of our team members is goin to put a 350x in his 250x frame!!

it will definitely work, and it is supposed to be a nice boost in power.

i didn't look at your list of mods, but in case you havent done so already, you might want to do some suspension work. my friend knows a guy who did the same conversion a while back, and while he said it was REALLY fast, it was a bit too much motor and not quite enough handling. that's why i'm doing a 350X swap into a 250R frame.

the 400ex front conversion is awesome
i did the conversion from spindle to spindle
it feels like it jumps better than a stock 400 even though its the same suspension
a lot of people on here said the conversion is very bad
but i have raced on my front end for over a year with no problems

anyone else about the 400ex front end or the engine in the frame?

I have 400ex control arms on my 250x.I am not using 400ex shocks though.I have a set of Works shocks up front that are designed to use your original upper shock mounts(to use the 400ex shocks you need to fabricate a higher upper shock mount).I couldnt be happier with mine,it is a HUGE improvement over stock.

wvspeadfreak-How did you get those shocks to fit with your original shock mount? Do you have any pics of the front end of your quad?

Are you sure the 350x head will fit on a 250x/300ex cylinder.Along time ago i was told it wouldn't work.Somethin about the 350x cam spins differently than the 300ex.So you would have to get a special cam made.Don't qoute me on that.I just read somewhere it wouldn't work.

Yes the 350x motor will fit a 300ex frame. You will have to grind the back motor mount on the motor itself.Powroll makes a bolt in kit.Along with an exhaust for the conversion.I rode a 92 250x with a built 350x motor in it.That thing hauled and it wasn;t running right. Now I am starting to build my own.

Hmmm well maybe not but I swear a guy told us it would, he builds some fast quads, maybe he said he was going to try it, I'll have to find out if he ever did I guess & see if it worked:o
