Heated carb?

I noticed when looking at the dealer pdi sheets that they mention "heated carb wires". Looking at the carb on my quad, i can see two wires on the front of the carb that look like they are connected to what looks like a temp sensor of some type. Anyone have an answer for this? It's not the TPS sensor, i know where that is.

Yes your carb is heated for cold weather uses, like snow riding or ice racing.

the parts break down says its a heater assy. take it for what its worth.

I think it's wires for a carb heater.
You know........ for heating the carb.
