i was thinking the other night about those 300ex shock relocators so people can run 400ex shocks, and i was wondering, what if u put the 300ex shock relocator on the 400ex, and ran Long Travel Front shocks with Standard Travel a-arms. Anyone think this would work? anyone tried it? not looking to do it, but i figured it was worth asking

Interesting thought for sure. That would be kind of cool. If somebody has the parts to try it, they should check it out.

Well, I made my shock relocater for my 250x so that the angle of the shocks was close to the stock 400ex angle with 400ex arms.

I don't think it would work to well since you are not moving the shock mount out on the bottom like on the 300ex?

I would look into the frame hitting the ground. With almost 3 extra inches of travel the frame might hit the ground on jumps.
