Need opinions. Raptor vs. 400EX

Just want to see what you guys think about a bone stock Raptor vs a 400EX with a full White Brothers E-series, K&N and jetted for no air box lid. Who do you guys think would win a drag race?

garentee the raptor will take it either off the line or in 3rd to 4th. after that, whom ever is on the 400 wont have any reason to finish the race

I don't think the Raptor will beat the 400EX off the line. The Raptor swingarm is too short, it's difficult to keep the front wheels down.

After that, however, the 400EX is going to be sucking Raptor exhaust...

Anyone know the stock HP on a Raptor? I guess the 400 would need internal motor work? What about a cam?

I can tell you from first hand experience. I owned a 2001 Raptor that was absolutely bone stock and my cousin had a 2001 400EX with K&N and an HMF slip-on. I'd have him right from the jump and probably had a bike length by the shift to 2nd. Oddly, for some reason, in 2nd gear I'd already have the lead but wouldn't pull as fast as you'd expect. However, once I grabbed 3rd and then the rest of the way up the Raptor would start pulling ahead rapidly. I then went to a 12t front sprocket (13 being stock) and would really pound him right from the get-go and still had more than enough top end to keep pulling away.
