valve help

I have (87)250x I just put in a new web all around drop in cam. reajusted the valves intake.004 ex.004 when I start it up valves/rockers/cam chain or something seems to be very loud.(ticking) rocker pads look good. Could my rocker pins or valve springs or timing chain be wore out?It is a 87. Has anyone else experienced this problem? (VERY Loud valve train).

I have no clue about the 250x, but could it be the timing chain tensioner. I just did a 400 and on the first start it was noisy because the tensioner got stuck out.
