Everybody have this in mind and I am SPECIFIC!!!
I'm buying a pipe in about a week and I want the BEST one and not the Spark-6 cuz it's too loud! I'll race so HP and powerband is important a lot! It's between these(all complete exhausts):
-W.B. E-Series
-W.B. R4
-Pro Circuit T4
-Yoshimura comp. or titanium...
the beeeest powerband between these, did anybody know it? !!!

Thanx and xcuse me for the newb question!

If you are looking for an unbiased opinion check out the site listed below. It is in the faq, originally posted by Rico. I have a WB E-Series and love it. But that is a biased answer. Shck out the site below and good luck!:blah:

I ran the WB E-Series on my 400ex and know other guys who run them and so far everyone has loved them. Not too loud, they have a good sound though and give good power...Later

The light weight of the R4 was the draw for me. I think thats where to get the most gains in a pipe, weight. Those disk pipes can't compare when it comes to weight.

I have the full system E-series on mine but I don't think I get the full advantages it offers with my stock motor. It is quieter than the R4 and T4, I havent had a chance to compare it to the Yoshi as of yet. I may be upgrading to a 416 in the near future where I hope to see the full benifits of the system.:D Read all the pipe shoot outs you can find before you make your purchase, and keep in mind that sound will be having an ever growing effect on where you ride and our sport in general.

ya im runnung the E- series also. deffinetely a nice pipe with good power gains. Add more disks and get more topend. Take some away and get more bottom end. And its not redicelously loud so you wont piss off your neighbors.

Also the WB E-series is one of the most reasonably priced pipes also. Be sure to check out the horespower gains in the shootout that I listed on the second post. WB faired pretty well in that department as well. Good luck with your new pipe!
:D

DONT GET DG all the dig pipe is, is a piece of tube .. no perofrmance gains and just loud

whaaa, where'd ya pull that answer from cause it all was just a crock of crap

i previously ownend the e series, now i have the r-4, the r-4 is a little lighter than the e-series power is close enough that it's not noticable but all in all the e series was a piece of crap

i have an e-series and it adds alot of power. Go with the e-series plus i think it is one of the best sounding pipes out there.

Yes, but haven't they made some changes to the newer e-series. I am not sure but I thought I heard they made it stronger. Just curious???

me and my buddy both run all of the same mods exept for exaust, i run an e series and he runs an r4 and even he admits that his is doggier than mine and he paid more money so why be so loyal to the r4 guys ? 2 pounds doesnt make any diffence to us woods riders, if it did we wouldnt be puttin on nerfs and bumers and skids

maybe your buddy needs to do some tuning on his bike and i'm not loyal to the r-4 but i have ran BOTH exhaust on my bike, and the r-4 came out on top

not to mention the e-series is seriously lacking in the quality department and the picture of the busted up eseries is the new updated, so called stronger version, and it looks like crap looks like they just grabed some scrap sheet metal laying around and welded it in there :huh

I know this is a semi-common problem with the S-bend, but has anyone seen the same problems in the pro-meg?

soggy i don't think your goin to see that out of the pro-meg eseries cause i think it uses the slip joint with the springs holding it in place like the r-4 so it's goin to allow for flex, you've got the pro-meg so correct me if i'm wrong because i'm not sure off hand but i'm pretty sure

Nope its got the same aircraft style pipe clamp as the S-bend.

I would venture to guess though, that it would be less likely to crack because of the way the cone is welded to the can. On the S-bend, the pipe goes into the center of the can and a flat piece of steel, allowing an oilcan effect as the engine flexes in one direction and the sub frame goes in a different direction. Of course this is just my half buzzed theory:bandit:

Hey all,
I'm new to this game (former Banshee rider) and the White Brothers E-series Pro-Meg was recommended to me.. so I bought it... looks good as far as fit and finish, but haven't gotten it out yet to tell you how the power is...
