1. Government lawsuits
2. Who cares, you're still riding a Blaster
3. About $500 and a mouthful of teeth
4. Not cheap enough to buy every time you overcook a wheelie
5. Again, who cares, you're still riding a Raptor 80
6. 21xI'm-gunna-be-replacing-them-anyway-9
7. Why? They don't sign my paychecks
8. Sure, mine did about 8 backflips when I didn't make a hillclimb
9. Unfortunately, not Monkeyboy
10. They named it after hearing my wife call me that:devil:

1.too many lawsuits for dumb kids riding a quad they didnt know how to handle and getting flown off a cliff.
2.as far as i know the blasters axle is so small in diameter that only that axle fits it but im not a blaster expert by ANY means.
3.Works St steelers or Pro Series? i assume i u mean AT's. They use cheap springs a NON ZPS or SSD setup and have no shock adjustment except for crossover rings. Axis use the whole shock body for springs are available 100% adjustable high quality springs and more valving technique rather than a run of the mill works shock.
4.they dont make em. LOL if you asked for that you dont deserve a 400EX
5. i think 2 inches on a traling arm setup.
6.tire size is 20 inch with a 9 inch rim and is 10 inches wide but tires all the way to 12 inch on stock rims.
7.John Guetter is all i really know. I dont get much ino Heuvos.
8.Ballance my friend!
9 the ironman is named after bob Ironman who died a few years back........a GNCC legend!:macho we will miss u man!

#10 it is named after bob the ironman sloan former pro who died racing #9 bill ballance and has won all since #8 dont think so #7 never heard of them
#6 20-10-9
#5 not enough
#4 have to use 250r grab bar
#3 about 550 bucks or so
#2 banshee
#1 because of the cpsc and they said they were too dangerous just like they are trying to right now with all atv's

i am only answering these two cause this is going to be long anyways.

86R's have a different rear frame/engine mounts. The swingarm mounts up with the engine with a bolt through it. IT also has a taller piston with a shorter rod. The frame also has more gussets and the swinger is 1 inch longer the dog bone is longer on the 86 along with the shock as its the shortest. The CDI hookup is different on 86 and early 87. The tires on 86-87 r's are a non-radial old school tire. IT also had gold rims and the farther back A-arms. The 86-87 had a older less reliable clutch setup unlike the 88-89. The airbox was different on 86 Only. The air tube on 86-87 didnt have the air bottle to increase air in the air tube. The front plastics on 86-87 also had a shark scoop on the front that bolted to the frame and increased air to the air tube. The gear ratios in 86 were a little taller along with the gear tooth were different (put them together and the 3 locking peice go in the exact opposite areas. its hard to explain without seeing them. Also 85-86 R motors were painted a metallic silver look. The head style is different and the shock valving in the 85-86 were different form the other years too. the 86-87 swingers were steel also. The 88-89 plastics were a different style style and the 400's were styled after them. They had Ohtsu's front and rear (radials that are on the 400ex) black engine cases a long rod engine different head aluminum swingarm and a lighter frame a different mountup on the swinger. it mounts to the frame only a straight tube across and no engine mounts. The rear frame is different and it supports the motor w/o the swingarm the CDI plugins are a little different.
The a-arms on 88-89 were placed 1 inch foward over 86-87 the shocks are the shortest on 87-89.There are also many many other things too. the 2 color schemes are this:
86-87: red and white on red blue and white
88-89:red with white letters.;)

hope that educates you in R's a little bit:devil:

Do you mean the ATC or is it just a tipo. 85 is ATC although the engines work with them cause they are the same. 85-89 motors can all work in a 250R frame. ;)
