just needed to know if anybody has a 36 tooth rear sprocket that they can measure and tell me the width of it.
The 38 tooth is 7 & 7/8".

you want the total diameter including the teeth or not including the teeth?

Mathematically, the difference is only .041 inch, a little over a millimeter. You'll probably need to be more precise than 1/8 inch accuracy, because the difference is only about one third of 1/8 inch.

why do you need this measurement?
you have to realize any measurement on here can be quite inaccurate, the different types of brands, and wear can make a huge difference.

I'm looking into putting the 250r rear brake setup on my ex, for ground clearance issuse ,I thought i might see if I could gain any clearance on the chain side with a smaller rear sprocket. I just wanted to know if there was much differance in the 38 and 36 tooth sprockets.
But like everything I post or ask about on here, It appears to be just another waist of my time.
