Just wanted helpful advise...
Plan on purchasing a HotCam stage 1.
Do I need new rocker arms for this? I heard that rocker arms wear with the old cam, so new ones would be needed to wear in with the new cam. It's a hardly ridden 2001...
Thanks!

you should ALWAYS replace rockers or lifters with a new cam. Even if it has hardly any use. You can get away with the stockers and I'm sure plenty of people on here are going to pipe up and say they have but you always run the risk of messing something up and premature wear due to unevenly worn parts.

the majority of the people use the stock rockers. like already mentioned, it is probally recommended to get new ones. i actually don't know of many people at all who changed rockers if they weren't going to a hardened rocker. by the way, if you do change rockers, you will want to get something similar as the stock ones. you should NOT use hardened rockers with a hotcam. if it was me, i would leave them. however, you can do what you want.
