is a plus 2 axle on a 250r to wide for xc?

yes it is imo but if you llike bouncein off trees it would work i have ran several gncc races and always used a stock 250 r axle and aarms someone else might say different but i think the narrower the better for the woods

i have to agree with jon +2 is too much- i run a +1 and its too much i think -midnight rider runs his 250R +2 front and rear-hes ok at haspin hs its sort of wide- but at gncc (crawfordsville )its like playin bumper cars with the trees-at least run nerfs so its not a direct hit -just my 2 cents

I have the RPM axle in my 250r and I have it set to -1 with hiper narrow offset rims on the front with stock a arms and i still clip trees all the time mainly with my axle so +2 will be to wide.

I have a LS +4 axle on the back of mine but it's set down to +2 over stock and it works fine for GNCC races. But it's tight for the local harescrambles..
