Hey everyone, I just bought a 2000 Honda 400EX. Its got Silver Maier plastic, pc t-4 pipe, k&n filter, Big Gun rev kit (what does that do?), and some moose shockwears. I got it for $2100. (Might as well of stole it)

I have a couple questions:

First off what does the Big Gun Rev Kit do?

What tires do you recommend for the back for trail riding? And what psi?

And, my right tie rod is not adjusted right. How do I adjust it properly?

Thanks alot,
Joey

The neighbors never gave me any trouble with the dirt bike and it was a two stroke, although the quad is louder it is a little more pleasing to the ears.

Ok I searched on how to align the front end and it helped me out.

When I rode it today, it would pull pretty hard to the right if I let go of the bars, and if I gassed it it would upset the steering. Bumps in the road would also make it want to pull one way. Are these symptoms of a bad alignment? I know it is bad, it is very clear that the left front is straight when the bars are straight and the right front points 5-10 degrees (I guess) to the right. Would that be far enough out of whack to cause these problems?

BTW, my ride today was on pavement because it has been raining here and it looks like I have drag slicks on the back of this thing. (getting new tires tomorrow.)

Thanks again,
Joey

Anybody know what could cause my problem?

your tires need to be pointing straight....you need to loosn up the threads on the tierods & align them up

Make sure you don't have any bent or tweaked parts on the front end.....ie. frame, a-arms, tie rods....

The Big Gun rev kit just allows your motor to rev or red line at a higher RPM, most beneficial when you start modding the motor some more.:)
