Hey guys just had my axle nut loosen up on me. Went to tighten it back down it did, the brake rotor tightened up and stopped wiggling. My question is: Is the bracket that the caliper attaches to - it has a hole for the axle to go through and a slot for a pin to ride in on the swing arm - suppose to float? I heard some people say it is but mine floats allot. Is it supposed to float????
I"M guessing your asking if it's OK to move slightly. Mine does it which causes the caliper to move a little on the rotor when hitting hte brakes..

Yeah, that’s what I was asking. IT seems to move up and down about a 1/8 of an inch. Didn't know if it was supposed to or not. I guess I'll let it go until it is really worn and moving allot. Thanks man.
