what wires do u connect to hotwire a 400. i see 2 blacks and red and cant seem to make it start with any combation

well theres only about 5 different combinations how hard can it be, u probably got one switched with the neutral light or something.

DId you steal a quad........

Take the ignition connection ( the white connection )
And hook the middle wire and hook it to the one on the side don`t know witch one just try it.

Or you can unplug the ground wire ( green ) and bump start or toutch the cylinoid with a screw driver.

Sorry, that was my friend posting under my name. My quad's ignition is broken so he posted for me while i was mesing with it. It's not stolen. Thanks for the help tho.

Damn this is an old *** thread...but as far as it running down your battery, put it in gear so the neutral light goes out, and shut your lights off. I can't think of anything else that could make the battery go dead.
