top speed?

hey does anyone knwo what the top speed of a 250R is?its ported and polished, fmf fatty pipe and powercore silencer, boyseen rad valve, and other small stuff like k&n, and i am running 22's with stock gearing? anyone have an idea what it will be?

umm just a little more than what it was stock.. it will just get there faster

I clocked mine at 72mph with my GPS. That was with my big bore stroker but I am pretty sure it turns the same max rpm as stock.
You have to re-gear or change the max rpm if you want the bike to have a faster top speed, adding power does nothing (unless you didn't have the power to wind out top gear before).

yea, sounds about right on the yfz, my pred was clocked at 74 and i edged out a yfz on top end pretty good,......but that was after i caught up with him lol:( :rolleyes:
