The event had a decent turnout out, but it would have been better if it weren't for the on and off rain :(

The track was extremely muddy, and the practice session in the morning was extended to try to clean the track up before the races.

Only three top pros showed up for the event Jeremy Schell, Darrell Patton, and Kory Ellis, which was a big change from the previous two Quadcross races when many of the Pros were out West preparing for the Glen Helen National.

The Skies remained Overcast and rain threating for the entire first Moto races.

Pro Moto 1

The racing action early was extremely exciting with several lead changes. #53 Kory Ellis (Alba Racing / Kenda) grabbed the holeshot with #35 Darrell Patton 2nd, and #1 Jeremy Schell (kawasaki / ITP) in 3rd.

A few turns into the race, Jeremy passed Darrell to take over 2nd place. Shortly afterwords, Kory messed up going into a turn, which allowed Jeremy to pass into the lead!

By the time Kory Ellis got going again, Darrell Patton had also passed him, and Kory Ellis dropped back to Third.

Kory Ellis quickly regained 2nd and put the charge on Jeremy. Jeremy held Ellis for a while, but Kory was eventually able to make the Pass and move into 1st Place

I LOVE THAT TRACK!!!! Ever since I rode it with Kory for the YFZ intro I've been wanting to go back to that track. It it perfect, the lips of the jumps throw you perfect, high and far... The corners are awesome, just some really neat stuff on the track. If you ever get the chance to ride it... DO IT!!!!

The track was awsome, I was a little worried when we first got there cause the track was very wet, but by the end of the practice sessions it was perfect, I cant wait till the 13th for the next race.
