Okay, I come off the jump and I'm in the air. How do I keep my weight ON the quad so my feet don't come off the pegs? Thanks

You guys laugh but I have had the same problem and I weigh 225 and ride a DS650. I don't know what causes it and it's not all the time. I think it's when you have your weight positioned wrong and hit a ramp with a lip at the end it throws you forward and ends up with your feet leaving the pegs. All I can say is be aware of how you are positioned when you set up for a jump and see if it's happening in certain positions or on certain kinds of jumps. However like ramp said, I started throwing no footers since they were already off the pegs. Good luck.

Hey , that's what happens, I hit the jump wrong and get thrown.
I'll have to work on it.
I guess I got sunamis on the brain.:eek2: :muscle:

load the shocks so the quad kinda jumps off the ramp with you?
when your just on the ram kinda force all your weight down so by the time you reach the end of the ramp the springs are comming back up hopefully with you still on it

learn to jump and it shouldnt happen, try preloading off the lip of the jump

your problem is in the way your standing on the quad, are you sitting on the seat before you go into the air? if so the quad rebounding on the face of the jump will cause your body to leave to the quad once its in the air. if you stand your feet stay will stay on the pegs

Heh, I'll sometimes do that, but I usually don't jump off man made jumps, so sometimes my landings are a little harsh. I'm always launching off razor backs or something. I bent up my shifter the other day from landing on it w/ my left foot and almost went over the bars after jumping off a razorback dune at Dumont.

shoooooot.....that means your not hitting the jump hard enough(hehe) try once more maybe in 3rd or 4th pinned if your feet still come off maybe u should add a lil style!

when you come up to the ramp, bend your knees some and that should take the rebound instead of your feet flying off the pegs. Try to stay flexible instead of being stiff.

sometimes i sit down as i go off the jump and pop it by standing up while in the air. it looks pretty cool and is fun too. you hafta have the right jump to do it tho. cuz when u first jump your nose high but when you stand up the fron end goes level. but ive never had my feet come off the pegs??? :huh
