whats everyone's opinion on the hmf pipe for the 400ex? How loud is it w/out the q-core?

Its rather loud with out the quiet core.

HMF is a site sponser and 1/2 or 3/4 of top GNCC guys run the HMF, what does that say about them?

GREAT pipe at a GREAT price you really cant beat em.

When I first got mine it wasn't too loud, but I think after a few months you break it in somehow and now, mine is extremely loud...but my jetting is also quite rich right now so I think that may play a factor in it. When I rev it up high it gets LOUD...almost like a Harley, but not that loud for that long and not so ploppy like the Harley's sound.

I'd still buy a HMF for any other quad I get in a second though. I love the sound/loudness and power gains.

I got my hmf slip-on a couple of weeks ago and love it...It's loud as a mofo without the qcore.The qcore does help alot on a 400ex.With the core it only gets kinda loud when you really hammer down on the quad.......

i was going to get the lte exhust untill i found out that they changed their price. it when from $600 to $739. they said that they improved everything but i was like wow thats way to much. so i just ordered my new HMF today for $467 (red) shipped. now thats a great deal.

Put my HMF slip on today. It makes my 450 run great. I have a k&n on it also and jetted the main up to a 185. It runs clean and is very loud! It is the type of loud that sounds good and doesnt annoy you. With a helmet, it wont be too bad.
