from reading these forums i notice i see people using offset rims and i don't really understand what this is, i know it can make the quad wider, but how does it work?

Offset goes as follows:
3-2 offset means that it is 3 inches deep on the inside of the wheel where the rim connects to the hub, and it is 2 inches deep on the outside of the rim where it connects to the hub.
4-1 offset means that it is 4 inches deep on the inside of the wheel where the rim connects to the hub, and it is 1 inch deep on the outside of the rim where it connects to the hub.
Does that help?
