I raced my season opener this Sunday for the STQRA, I recently got new a arms, shocks, axle, and swingarm for my cannondale and i got it running..... however, in the first moto it died on me when i was running a solid top 3 and the 1-3 positions were switching out with each lap.... very close race and my quad dies on me 3 times and the 3rd time it wouldnt start...... so i know it wasnt rider error...haha.... my new battery i just got was trashed! and wouldnt start unless u jumped it.......grrrrrr but anyway here are some pics

came very close to landing on the new honda bc i was the only one tripling the jump in my class..sorry the pic is so dark

so right before my 2nd moto im walkin around the pits kind of mad and one of our pro riders asked me if i got my quad going for the 2nd moto...i told him i didnt of course and he said well do u have a bike to ride yet and i was like no i havent asked yet and he said u can take mine....... and what a ride his quad is!!!!!!! VERY TRICKED out YFZ!!!!!!!! i didnt even get to ride it befoee my moto and i was already doubling everything out there in the first lap....... i fell in love with it

Lookin good girl!!! Damn that sucks about your battery :rolleyes: think I'd be taking it RIGHT back to where it came from. I had the same problems this weekend but we were just practicing, had to push start it the day!! Killed it on the track once & was cringing & hoping nobody came around & hit me cuz I was dead dead dead :blah: going to get a new battery this week. You look good on that Yammi :)

I have a bud that has the same battery problem as you do. He is really getting sick of it and wishes the stupid thing would just disapear. I wonder if there will ever be a fix for that?:confused:

I"m guessing she hasn't contacted Jeff at the quadshop because they are the Dr's of dales and I've never heard of this problem:confused:

From what I understand, this is just one of MANY problems she has had with her quad...

yes it has given me nothing but problems...i avergage about $200 a ride in what it costs me........ not $200 a race....... just even if i go out and ride for fun

I'm realy startin to like the 450R kickstart, no more battery probs. leave the key on for a monthe or a week it dont matter just go out and fire it right up, also cdaleshick i was hopin to see ya at the caddo 6 hour race your gonna have to come to the athens tqra race this weekend if it don't rain out it be lots o fun

i doubt i can make it anywhere this weekend bc my quad might not be going anywhere.... if it does run i gotta go to the track that our next race is at bc i havent been there yet
