I was on lrds site this morning at shcool and looking at there aluminum frames, in the little explanitory section it says NOT FOR RACING wtf is up with that?

Does that mean that they don't warranty their stuff? I thought that lrd made high performance parts? Interesting find though.

I noticed that a long time ago when I was on there. Kind of stupid, as most people paying that much for a frame are going to be racing. I think they just do that to cover themselves!

yeah that was my thought what are you sposed to do spend 3600 bucks and let it sit there, " ahhh aluminum frame man you must be rich lets go riding " " ahhhhh i cant if i get on my bike the frame will break " I like lrd they do great motor work but gusset the frame or something

I wonder if anything special was done to Jones, or if he had any problems? Not anybody going to be harder on it then him!

they say that to cover there asses in case something happens racing its just a bunch of legal bull**** i owned a lrd nicest thing i think i ever owned so many people looked at it at the races i almost felt like a pro sometimes they are AWESOME

no they say that because of the failure rates and problems they have had with this line of frames.

i hear they require alot of custom fabrication to make everything fit in ...

i guess people just buy aluminum frames to play ride on the weekends.

from what i have herd about how parts bolt up...with the newer frames everything fits well.
