Cant Decide

Well, i'm looking to get a used quad because i only have about 4 grand to spend. Im pretty much looking at 400exs, raptors, and z400s. I'm pretty new at riding but ive got quite a few places to ride and i learn fast so i dont really want my inexperience to be a factor in buying the quad. What would yall recommend, or do you think i should wait and save some more and get what i really want: a YFZ450?

I agree with saving your money to get what you want. If you buy something just because you wanna get a four wheeler right away, you'll regret it, almost guaranteed. Just save your money. I know it's hard but it's worth it in the long run.

I'd say a yfz is alot of quad for a new rider. Look into getting a nice 400ex. Lot's of 2000's or newer around for $3000 or $3500 and they have excellent reliability. They're also pretty easy to learn on compared to the other quads your thinking of.

keep saving. you never know someone with a yfz may get in a tight spot and let theirs go cheap.
