OT .Got my deer back

Well I got one this year that was worth mounting the guy did a nice job but he left the scar form the bullet.oh well gives it character.;) what do you think?

why didn't ya ask for more of a neck mount and leave alot of the shoulder out of it?

that's a pretty big scar :(

i don't mount any of my deer, but a guy that i work with mounts his and the fella that does it for him can fix stuff like that.

Yea he was goina fix it but I told him whatever he wanted to do was ok by me. he cut me a good deal I sold him a good truck cheep so he only charged me 200 bucks.

Nice buck! Which county did you get him in? Im also from western PA. Im from ellwood city its between newcastle and beaver falls. But i hunt up in venango county. I got a huge 8 up there in 2002. ive seen a few this year but only one that i could shoot at but he was going to fast so i dident even take the shot. Oh yeah by the way who was your taxadermist?

I got this one in westmorland county the taxadrmist is a friend and dosent do to much work unless you know him;)

Where did you get him at the guy that did my buck told me he had a big one like that he was doing. might be the same deer but then again I know there where alot of big deer taken this year most make mine look small but this is the best looking rack I got yet. nice and even.

Got him in my back yard in donegal i watched the deer for about 2 months. i missed him twice in archery and got him in rifle. where did u get urs at??

Im not exactly sure where you guys hunt but is it near gibsonia pa. i remember 2 years ago my buddy and i went down there for the extended doe season and we seen a few big buck roaming around. Do you have to use only a shot gun or are you alowed to use a rifle. Yeller when you get the pics post them i cant wait to see it. heres a pic of mine.

Yea your real close im just over the hill in acme near the gas well road I also got mine behind the house funny thing is on one saw this deer. there was a deer that was all black but no one got him that was a big deer never seen one all black it was hard to belive he could hold his head up.:eek:
