I know a guy selling his 400ex. He is a maintanance freak and never beat on the quad. Mint condition....It is a 2002, mostly stock except for a white bros kit, white bros graffics and K+N filter, . He is asking $3700. What do you guys think it is worth?

$3,700 since you know him & what hes selling...sound slike a good deal to me...maybe you could say $3,600 cash or something

Sounds pretty good. I picked up a 2000 model for $2100 last night. It needs about $200-$300 or so to get it perfect but its only stuff like the headlight wires pulled out, it needs back tires, and its got a tweaked tie rod.

oops, i didnt read the mods u listed.. lol, id buy it if it is really that good of condition, you can buy a brand new one for a few hundred more

try a couple thousand more. Up here the '04's are going for $5299....I would get the used one for 3,500 or so, seeing as he knows the guy and its in great shape anyways. Plus it already has mods.
