A 330 kit adds about 48cc's, its only about 282cc to begin with.

Extreme rider-your title says a 300 bore kit and your post says a 330 kit:confused:

I have a 330 kit and it adds considerable power. I would do the bore kit again in a heartbeat, no regrets. Pulls a hell of a lot stronger through the gears, like a whole new machine.

Can't answer that one for you. Never went up against a 400. I bet it would give a stock 400 a run for its money though. Go through Profab ATV for the bore kit. They'll treat you well.

I got the Pro Fab 350 kit in my 250X w/t mx race cam. Its expensive to do but its alot better than stock. Will it beat 400s?Yes it will hang with piped 400s and Z400s.There pretty close.

what's funny, my 330 was dissapointing until at my last race i actually used 110 race gas..and then..holy hell!! its like the biggest beast i've ever rode. lol. i cant wait to have my head ported, then i should definatly see some good gains in power, but for now, yea my 330 is just a shy slower than a stock z400, idk about a stock 400ex though

you still have a 300ex. a 400ex has better handleing manners and suspension. plus it looks better

you'd see the humor in this if you read the post that this threads author made with a pic of him doing a fake wheelie.
