400EX Carb on 250X?

Can I put my 400EX stock carb on my 250X? Has anyone done this? Would I expect to get better throttle response? How about power gains? Any info would be great. Thanks

Yes you can put a 400ex carb on a 300ex/250x , it give a bit more throttle response but mostly mid and top end power. You ahve to find a 350x boot , and i also hear they are hard to get perfect jetting??

Yep, do as 300XFST4602 said and get the 350x boot. The jetting is a little tough and will give you some problems but once it is right it will pull alot harder than stock!
