for a 250R, what would be the best a-arms setup for jumping. +2, +2+1, +3+1????? and i how ever wide i go up front do i need to also go that wide in the rear with a new axle(Ex: +2 a-arms and +2 axle). also i am running a 1987 250R and i want to keep the stock length swingarm which is longer than the 88' and 89' model so would i need to go forward on the a-arms or not?

we're still testing a few different combinations. i'll be testing a XC style setup very soon. (+1 long travel) it will sit very high but in fmx your not turning very fast so i dont need to be sitting very low and for the extra shock legnth, it will help with the hard landings. the narrow setup allows for easier manuverability in the air plus ive always liked the narrow stance over the wide stance anyways. racing is a whole different story!!!
