well got a phone call today from a friend he did a high compresion stock bore wiesco piston kit in his 400 ex and after 5 months or so he has a blown head gasket he was telling me when he assembled it one head bolt didnt want too torque properly but that it was real tight so he said oh well and ran it i told him since im gonna do the head gasket this time we are gonna replace that stud and the nut for the cyl head too ensure proper torque im just curious do these typiucaly strip at the cyl or at the nut and stud ( ya dont think the cylender is striped?) im also gonna put a xr 400 head gasket back in couse i want too get him too a true high compression ratio is this worth it with out tearing down as far as the base gasket too remove that as wel as in mickey dunlops tech article? any help will be appreciated
