Are solid rotors better in mud than drilled rotors such as my stock ones. I'll prolly be buying new rotors this summer and im wondering if I should get "wave" style, stock style or solid discs. I race cross country by the way.

wave rotors are the best, stock honda rotors are nice, and solid rotors like on yamaha's heat up real quick and soon warp. the wave rotor is solid, but the wave design helps disapate heat so the wont warp like a yamaha rotor

Will a wave rotor eat the brake pads any more or any less in muddy conditions than a stock style drilled rotor?

Laz at GT thunder has a new solid rotor for the 400ex. I'll be looking into them myself.

Bradley mentioned they could heat up faster and warp which is very true but how many people ride with the brake on all the time besides Bradley...:o
