I had them before, I used to own a (cough, cough) Craptor. American Star Racing A arms are not that bad!!!
Mine came with a lifetime warranty against bending and breaking. That right there sold me. I had the +2w and +1 F , they were totally caster, camber , and toe adjustable. Heim joints. Strong chromoly.
Ask about the warranty, and if it is offered and you wanted them I would go for it!!!!

I was wondering about them also but I will probably wait a while before I buy some arms.

I have ASR +2 A-Arms on my 400ex that I raced mx with. They are very nice A-Arms with a heavy duty heim joint. I think these A-Arms are great for the money, I would buy the chromoly versus steel, chromoly allows for flex where as steel will bend under extreme conditions. Allthough I have steel ASR A-Arms on mine, I have yet to bend them.

Good luck,
Tim

chromoly does not have more flex than steel, however it is alot stronger. Steel has flex that is why it bends under extreme stress. 4120 chromoly has more tensil strength than mild steel and does not flex as much but under extreme stress instead of bending it will shear. This is very unlikely to happen and I agree that it is better for a-arms but not for that reason.

Your supposed to lube them with wd-40. Lube them like your supposed to like before a ride, and after you wash it and they won't squeek. :D
