What does everyone suggest for a steering dampener? I would like it to be rebuildable.

Please only reply if you have actually owned one or really know what your talking about.:)

well if you get a denton they are good but the stearing stem on the 450 is bigger around so get the right bracket

It might not. If it doesn't, you can always mill out the clamp until it fits.

since you have a custom stem, im sure you will beable to make the denton work, i own a denton, but its on my friends 250r, he had one, but he didnt have it mounted correctly, and it ended up getting bent, in my opinion, its a great dampener. i would go with the denton.

I just got the PEP dampener. Works great but it is a tight fit. I had to move the brake line a little, but over all its great.

I have a Scotts (Ohlins) - it is the real deal but they are pricey.
