440 11:1 or 12.5:1

I'm getting ready to order a 440 kit but can't decide witch compression ratio to get. Does anyone know if 12.5:1 will cause any problems? I don't race, just looking for a dependable, but
powerfull machine. I don't know anyone whose ran any more than 11:1.

We run 12.5 in 1 and 13 to1 in another- make good power but a lot of hastle with race gas if you ride very much. The 11 to 1 is dependable and you can run 93 and booster!!

11:1 ive heard of alot of people having truoble with the bottom end when the compression goes past 11:1. & you dont wanna use octane booster. Racae gas on 11:1 too or maybe preium?

I built mine last year. I dont race and I dont run wide open all the time either. The only problem that I have with it, is that I dont get time to ride it more.

Im glad I went with the piston I did. It has enough low end grunt to climb tree.
