rev limiter

if i got a after market rev limiter that puts out an extra grand of rpm's, would this increase speed? thanks

It will a little. I had one on my 400ex and I didnt like what it did to the shifting pattern. For me it made 2nd and 3rd to close together. I ride only dunes so it made me shift a little more often.

But, to answer your question, yes, it will give you a smidge more top end. You wont be looking for 6th as much when you are WFO pinned in 5th.

I just installed my WB e-series and mY friend installed his CDI... We did some drag racing and he was able to keep it in every gear jus that much more longer to get more out of it. Lets just say I got beat 4 out 5 times.. Keep in mind I haven't rejetted or anything like that.. BTW i get my CDI in this next week... Rematch should be interesting...
