how do you upload pictures from a camcorder?

i need to get pictures for someone on here,but the problem is i can't find a way to upload them onto my computer from my JVC camcorder.....they gave me two cd-roms to install and i did it ,and now when i plug the wire into the computer then plug it into the camcorder it says uploading pix....but it never works....can someone help me out here

Read the manual. If you do not have one, go to JVC online and download one.

Add on: Windows movie maker works very well. Not the one that comes with XP, but the updated one you get at Windows update.
It recognized my sony camera right away. It is very easy to use.

well i found the program to upload pictures from my thing,but it doesn't have the right model,it is either dell or canon,and i got JVC.....something is going to go out the window soon:mad: :grr:
