I would like to know if anyone has purchased any +2" A-Arms using their stock suspension on their 450R? If so, give me a description on how the suspension performs and what type of A-Arms you purchased. I mainly race Mx, and I am just concerned the valving on the stock suspension cannot be dialed in for Mx racing using +2" A-Arms. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Tim

I was wondering the same thing. I know the yfz is valved from the factory for plus 1's.

You can get +2 a-arms that work with your stock suspension. Re-valving wouldn't be necessary.

TRC is making +2 that use stock shock mounting location and a long travel that uses 19 3/8 long shocks. I have been testing the +2 for 3 weeks and not one problem so they will be available in about 2 weeks and the long travel will be about 3-4 weeks. if want any more in fo you can call me at (918)371-0101

Why would they valve it for +1 arms? That makes no sense at all. They are valved for the stock arms stock and may work well with +1s but they are not valved FOR +1s stock. They wouldn't valve them for arms that 90% of the bikes are never going to have.

well how are the stock a-arms able to handle +2's. I think it makes sence that the yfz is valved that way being the yfz suspencion is like a rock and the GYTR's +1's are for use with the stock shocks.

They would work with your stock length shock, but you are changing the leverage ratios when you go +2. If you run a stock shock valved for stock arms on +2 arms the shocks will be extremely soft. Its the same as turning your tires around for more width in the front your front shocks will feel softer.
