I am starting to build a 250x.I wanna gusset the frame before I have it powder coated.
I need to know the weak area's of the frame.So far most of the cracks I've seen on 250x/300ex's are around the footpegs and front shock mounts.
Has anyone else did this?What gauge metal did you use?Where all did you add gussets.
I rode my 300ex hard with stock suspension.(Went through 2 pairs of front shock and a swingarm)The frame isn't cracked on it.I don't figure this frame should have much of problem.I will be running aftermarket shocks on this one.
