I was wondering what jetting should I start with on an FCR carb that I will have shortly? My elevation is at 200 feet, its about 32 degrees out. my motor mods are JE416 piston, mild porting/polishing, powerpomb header, HMF slip on, Hotcam stg2, Uni filter, aluminum airbox(no lid), before with my stocker carb my jetting was-
dynojet 170ish main depending on temp and such.(never really got it dialed in)
3 1/2 turns out
45 pilot
dynojet needle at 3rd clip from top with washer under the clip

thanks-darren

My 416 is very similar to yours, and 165 was too lean for me at 1000ft. I went to a 168 but am going to bump it up to a 172. Also had a 52 pilot, but went up to a 55. Middle clip on needle and 3 turns on the screw.

I would set that carb up with a 175 main jet, 52 pilot, fuel screw 2.5 to 3 turns out and the needle in the middle clip. That is a really close setup just play with the fuel screw.
